Welcome Space

The community centre takes pride in creating a space that radiates warmth, inclusivity, and a sense of belonging.

Our warm welcome space

We are part of the Bristol City Council welcoming spaces network – hubs where community members can come together, forge connections, and feel right at home.

What makes our welcome space special?

Friendly atmosphere

We believe in the power of a smile and a cosy environment, ensuring that everyone who walks through our doors feels welcome.

Not-for-profit coffee shop

Need a pick-me-up? Visit our not-for-profit coffee shop and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee or tea while supporting the community – it’s a win-win!

Visit us on Wednesday lunchtimes for our chef’s delicious soup of the week and grab free fresh herbs, fruits and vegetables grown at the Avonmouth Secret Garden by Edible Bristol.

A space to unwind or work

Our warm welcome space caters for both leisure and productivity. You can unwind with a cup of coffee and catch up with friends or dive into focused work in our quiet rooms or the library. We work in partnership and host the Avonmouth library – you can view information about the library including opening hours on the Bristol County Council website.

Community notices

Stay in the loop with our community notice board, where you’ll find information on upcoming events, group activities, and local news. It’s the perfect way to connect with what’s happening in and around Avonmouth.

Activities

The community centre is a hub of activity. Dive into the community jigsaw, select from a variety of board games, or explore our events calendar to see what’s coming up – you’re sure to find something that piques your interest.
